Always had those kinds of conversations with friends... what would you do if you won the lottery kind of things.
My answer has always been pretty much the same.
If I won 100+ million, I'd put 10 million into 3 high interest accounts, that paid at least 5%. One for me, one for my mum and one for my sister.
That's 500k a year to live on... and that will give you a luxurious lifestyle... in fact, the more reasonable type of person wouldn't even be able to spend all of that.
That leaves 70 million... even in a 5% interest account... that's 4.5 million in interest a year alone... better investment (not high risk) could see that double.
I'd build social housing, setting up a charity to manage it. Reasonable rents, local homes for people who live and work locally.
I'd help fund youth clubs and repair workshops, community groups and so forth. Bringing people together instead of leaving them to feel isolated and abandoned.
I'd spend at least 1 million each year buying up peoples debt, targeting the most vulnerable and downtrodden... 1 million at around 10p in the pound could buy 10 million pounds worth of debt each year... and I'd cancel the lot. Freeing people of the burden and misery of being crushed under the weight... having to struggle to feed and clothe their families due to the debt holding them down and back.
I could do more good with a few million each year than any billionaire has ever done.
