Anyone else in BC noticing a serious chicken shortage?
We usually just get a whole chicken and stretch it across a bunch of meals once or twice a month, but have a friend coming for a special dinner so I was trying to get thighs, cuz it's something she hasn't been able to have in a while.
Not a one in the entire grocery store, just small whole fryers, wing tips and excruciatingly expensive breasts. Was there an H5N1 outbreak? Is there a TikTok fried chicken fad?
And yes, I can, in theory and practice, debone a whole chicken, but I just don't have the spoons these days.
