I hated the experience but consistently, for LA-to-Vegas for 2 ppl:
✅ Spirit was $300 round-trip w/out luggage ($600 w/ 1 bag)
❌ Southwest was $950 round-trip w/1 bag

Gonna be flying Frontier Air, which is terrible but comparably cheap/no-frills like Spirit... or whatever https://Skyscanner.com says.
