Completing my HR-mandated annual "AVADE" workplace-violence prevention online course. It places all the onus on the individual, e.g. to maintain "360-degree awareness", develop an escape plan, "own the door", document an incident, etc. Where's the button to send a letter to my elected representatives (and c-suite) demanding action on gun control, income redistribution, gender equity and behavioral norm training?
