Wrath: Some really strong character development here. The episode shows what happens when Lana gets Clark's powers, and I appreciate how much this really pushes their relationship. We get to see the shoe on the other foot with Clark, where it's Clark rather than Lana #Smallville

who is frustrated at Lana keeping secrets, and is unsure whether to trust her. When he finds out Lana kidnapped Lionel previously, it feels like the biggest hurdle in their romance to date, and Tom Welling plays Clark's disappointment at the girl he loves so well.

I #Smallville

think what really shows how their romance changes for the worst is the beginning and end scene. The episode starts with this perfect idealistic date where they are riding horses together across an open field, and then ends with a Clark who is noticeably unsure whether #Smallville
he still wants to be with Lana. It carries on the plot thread from the previous season of Lana becoming too much like Lex well, and sets up what will be a superb piece of personal conflict for the next episode. #Smallville
