F4GRX Sébastien@adrian @workchronicles @Zeitreisender thank you for speaking up. it's not the role of screen reader users to request alt text. it's our role to ask for it on their behalf, so this place is actually inclusive and welcoming for everyone.
alt text is useful even when you can see the pic. it's a great place to add context and easter eggs.

As a frequent user of the german train network, I am grateful for Alttexts too, as there are some parts with a very bad mobile internet coverage.

@Zeitreisender @adrian @workchronicles thats an absolutely important reason to add alt text, it also happened to me several times and I was happy to read some good alts everytime.
