Happy to finally, finally release this update! Been working on-and-off on copy and paste for more than a year.
Plus, I think it’s a really cool way of solving cherry picking; both completely unique among Git clients, AFAICT, and so natural it looks completely obvious. Very Retcon.
@ctietze Yes, the base implementation took minutes, building on Retcon’s existing rewriting engine.
What then took a lot of time was ① supporting copy-paste of virtual commits (stuff you create while paused; that Git itself doesn't know about) and ② surprisingly, the design: it was pretty hard getting people to notice commit copy-and-paste, without telling them outright
