For the privileged, state violence is the best violence and is never to be questioned because it is aimed at keeping them in power.

"We love our cops. We love it when they kill Black people. We love it when they disappear our neighbors. This is a white Christian country and that's the way it will stay."

That's all "fund the police!" means.

For what it's worth, "support the troops" is just this but for global US hegemony at the expense of non-white people in other countries.

None of the modern bipartisan red scare anti-China rhetoric coming out of the white wealthy US elite is about helping the Uyghurs or protecting Taiwanese democracy, it's about white wealthy US elites being terrified of having to compete.

The US has been sitting on its collective ass for so long it no longer knows how to function if it can't dictate outcomes to the rest of the world at gunpoint.

That's why none of them really mind Trump.

It's why they all support Israel as a proxy of white power.

Whenever Israelis and their defenders talk about how they're entitled to land millions of people were already living on because they feel a way about their ancestral connection makes me think of white people calling the cops on the Black people living in their old house and neighborhood even though they literally haven't been there in decades.

"But it's MINE."
