🇺🇸🇮🇷🇪🇺 Hegseth:

We are not counting on Europe, but they need the Strait of Hormuz much more than we do and might want to start doing less talking, having fewer fancy conferences in Europe, and get in a boat. This is much more their fight than ours.

Europe and Asia have benefited from our protection for decades. America and the free world need capable and loyal allies. Time for freeriding is over.

@MAKS23 and the US has benefited as well, by having the capability to project that power he loves so much from European bases. I wonder how they would do without them?

Don’t even get me started on the economic luxury of being able to export the bulk of US inflation with the petrodollar since the collapse of Bretton Woods.
