#ScribesAndMakers 4/23 Have fairy tales influenced any of your creative work?

They were among the first stories I heard or read myself (parents were not great on reading to us).

I don't think they influenced my writing much, however. I don't particularly like fairy tale retellings and I certainly don't write them.

(Or should I do Red Riding Hood in one of the Wolf stories? Just to bring in readers? Dear Gods, the idea...)

Yeah, it would only be "inspired" by having a young woman, a grandma and a wolf (shifter).

The plot would be entirely different.

@Firlefanz With the main character discovering that grandma *is*, in fact, a wolf shifter herself and prone to spontaneous shifting when tired? That might be fun. 🐺 @gahlearner

I have honestly no idea. But shifting without planning to might be a symptom of dementia...

I have so many other books to write before I can even think of this one, though.
