WOOOOOOH I GOT TO VOTE FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY! :D
My neighbourhood was eerily quiet, though the polling booth seemed to be chill and fairly empty. Before going in, a CRPF officer checked my ID, then upon entering the polling booth, the polling officer checked for my name on the roll, cross-checked with the voter ID, issued a slip, another got my finger dyed with a special ink, and then I got to cast my vote!
Even after the attempt at disenfranchising voters, glad to see that ECI were true to their words, and my polling station was accessible indeed.
My parents, though leaning left, have been a bit skeptical to vote for the left this time, given the current leader had a private meeting with one of the top leaders in TMC, possibly for an alliance. While I'll not name whom I have voted for, all I'll say is it was neither the incompetent incumbents, nor twas the rising fascists.
