It never ceases to amaze me when non-Americans criticize Americans for the #RTKBA, something which we regard as a fundamental, unalienable, natural civil right of all people, and then are surprise when we become "combative" over it.

You are literally attacking a fundamental right, equivalent in our philosophy to every other fundamental human right—you are literally doing something equal to advocating for human slavery—and you think we should not be "combative"? Sure, cool story, bro.

Whether or not you agree that the RTKBA should be considered a human right, the fact remains that it IS considered such in our political system, so if you are going to enter into that sphere of debate, you need to have respect for it as a fundamental human right.

The fact that it is so is absolutely consistent with every understanding of natural rights theory that has ever existed, so the onus is on you to provide evidence for why it should not be.
