@itsfoss the thing I’m going to miss most going from Mac to Linux is the “command” key; having cmd+c as the universal keystroke for “copy” that does not conflict with ctrl+c in the terminal is probably the most common but having all of that deconflicted has been really helpful
@ShadSterling @itsfoss try remapping caps lock to instead be CTRL, it's a life changer. Saved my wrists.
@komali_2 @ShadSterling @itsfoss I usually map caps lock to Compose key. Feels like a superpower.
@skalyan @komali_2 @itsfoss what does that have to do with having separate keys for interrupt (ctrl+c) and copy (cmd+c)?
@ShadSterling @komali_2 @itsfoss It has to do with remapping the Caps Lock key (mentioned in the comment I was immediately responding to).
@skalyan @komali_2 @itsfoss which in turn was a response to my post which it didn’t seem related to 🤷
@ShadSterling @skalyan @itsfoss sorry, I never really understand social media UX, I probably replied to the wrong post
@komali_2 @skalyan @itsfoss ah, ok, when the thread continued I thought maybe it was about a way to use another key like the command key that I wasn’t following
