So, I'm delving into simulating Quantum Field Theories on the lattice again, for self-education, but also to complement the second edition of our Quantum Field Theory textbook, which is kind of overdue.

I find the ideas behind this very fascinating, so maybe I'll share some of my journey here.

Here's my first quantitative result on a 16x16x16x16 spacetime lattice, the two point correlations of a free scalar field with a mass of 0.2 units. Amazingly, the exponential decay says that the Mass is 0.2 units - success!

2016 must have been an exciting year for you...

Not sure when precisely in 2016 those happened, but my congratulations on the 10th anniversary of publication, @Quantensalat !

@dj3ei Thanks, yes exciting in more ways than one, the book had been in the making for years at that point, but my contract at RWTH had ended in '15 and I changed carreers, and had a year at home taking care of a newborn, and during nap time I'd finish up the manuscripts, basically.
