Why is that important for me?
I guess because I've always looked at art as an act that's the result of two main elements: the intentionality of the artist regarding the subject they want to get across, and - for me this being the more important part - the subconscious choices the artist makes in conveying that choice, and which usually give it a distinct fingerprint among similar art with similar subjects.
LLMs lack this second part, and I imagine that's what everyone means when they say AI art "is soulless". I think the equivalent tautology works better for me: human art is, well, "more human".
