Had a great @CoderDojo & @CodeClub in York on Monday night. Two children were working on #microbit light sensors: one a light gauge with more LEDs lit up the lighter it was. The 2nd was #MrMorrison ‘s biscuit tin alarm* which works brilliantly with a V2 microbit, lighting up and making a racket when the tin was opened. The parents/guardians loved it! Lots of #Scratch going on too but alas no photos allowed. @rpimag
*Mr E Morrison’s book ‘Making the most of the Microbit’.

@AnnieC > Scratch…no photos allowed

Don’t understand, can you elaborate please?

@cyclical_obsessive The parent/guardians did not agree to allow photos of the back of their children to be used in social media: one because they absolutely refused and another because she left grandad with the child and he didn’t understand English. The work they were doing was remixing other peoples’ scratch games and altering the code. I don’t allow them just to play:I say that they have to attempt to understand and make changes.
