I've been chatting with a guy in Bathurst with the goal of us becoming regular play partners. He's a tradie (an electrician, so now I just need a plumber to complete my set!) and is a bit of a Guy's Guy ™️. Greg and he have chatted in a group chat I created for us just before I went to bed the other night. I mentioned to Greg that I hadn't had the pronoun chat with this guy yet, so not to be surprised if he was referring to me as "she", and not to bother about it because I'll bring it up in the morning.

I got back to the chat when I woke up in the morning, to discover that the guy had said "she" at one point, and Greg responded by saying "*they" and then used they to refer to me in his comment.

The guy picked it up straight away, and consistently used "they" from that point forward—even in phrasing like "they said they like they hair pulled".. which made me so happy to read.

Like yes, I understand that the grammar is incorrect... but this tradie from regional Australia didn't assume that being told "they" meant anything other than using "they" was the right thing to do. There was no arguing, no "well actually..", no questions about what's in my pants.

10/10, my guy. No notes.

(also, he's going to get the most amazing blowjob for just being a decent human being lol)
