Mikaim going on a trip to Penang soon n im quickly tryna find a way to feed Mocha remotely - the feeder will be outdoors (by the porch) since Mocha's an outdoor #cat. My biggest concern is leaving the food out in the bowl with no way to close/retract it, since that'll just cause ants to come flooding - maybe make the food masuk angin too. Any #pet feeder suggestions?
Gombang@irfan I think there are cat feeders exactly for situation like this. I would post a photo of mine but I am not at home right now.
@[email protected] ok that sounds promising! ive stumbled upon so many on shopee but all of them, as far as i can tell, just leave the food out all the time - prolly assumes the cat to finish them.
my cat's outdoors most of the time and he gets easily distracted when eating while no one's around to wait for him, so he'll almost definitely not finish the food after he eats, and leaving it out just like that will def cause ants to attack lol.

@[email protected] thanks! my concern is more on leaving unfinished food out, which will prompt ants to come to the bowl since I'll be leaving the feeder outdoors. Was kinda hoping if there's some feeder that can somehow re-store food it's already dispensed if it's not finished, or just like have an open/close mechanism on where it's serving the food (i.e. the bowl) but I haven't found any like that so I just bought a regular feeder haha. I'll put it on a stand rather than on the floor, so I hope it'll deter most ants at least.
