The United States Department of Agriculture's Economic Research Service recently released a report analyzing food insecurity from 2022-2024 and noted that the top six states experiencing this include Kentucky, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas, with a majority of the others experiencing food insecurity near the U.S. average (13.3%).
