Much hey has been made about how Pixar canceled #BeFri because they could not make a girl power movie. And then KPDH comes in and does all kinds of girl power, and makes all kinds of money. wah- wah. 
(Note, they also gutted the queerness out of Elio.)
But also of note, is hulu (also disney) cancels pre-production Buffy revival. One of the grand-dames of girl power.
