Continuing my Resident Evil rewatch as it's been a lot of years, starting 2007's Extinction today. And I still wonder, all these years later, why the T-virus turned forests into deserts as it spread across Earth. Did it like, jump from mammals to trees? I dunno, man 😂

Resident Evil: Extinction (2007)

Years after the Racoon City catastrophe, survivors travel across the Nevada desert, hoping to make it to Alaska. Alice joins the caravan and their fight against hordes of zombies and the evil Umbrella Corp.

@jake4480 Suspension of disbelief, man. Just go with the flow... ;>)
@wendigo 😂 it's just so funny, every time. I almost feel like the trees would do BETTER without all the human stuff - most movies like the 28 Days ones, they have them overgrowing and stuff. Not Resident Evil! 😂😂 I think they just wanted to make it all bleak and wastelandy like Mad Max hahhaa
@jake4480 I'm grabbing the rest of the Underworld movies, so I can get up to speed with you... ;>)
@wendigo @jake4480 Just skip the third one. 😉
@gavin57 @wendigo the third Underworld? It's kinda weird, yeah, there's weird spots. Just like these Resident Evil ones. But I love em anyway 😂
@jake4480 @wendigo I think 3 was an anomaly, because they got better again after that. I saw 5 in the cinema and thought it was great.
@gavin57 @jake4480 Well, until I started talking to Jake about films, I tended to be too critical of some things. I forgot to enjoy films for the sake of it. And it turns out that we like many of the same things. He's more into body horror than I am, though. Yet, I still think it's hilarious when he talks about one, so I end up watching it anyway... ;>)
