Well, it looks like Hero Girl and Demon Lord Call It Quits has ended this week.

I was enjoying this manga. It was a slow paced, slice of life story about the hero of the world, a teenage girl, and this "evil" Demon Lord deciding to just stop fighting each other and try to live a normal life.

Parts of their past come back from time to time to interfere with their normal life, but it's overall a pretty chill series.

I was looking forward to where they would take it, but it ended with a rushed story arc about turning the Demon Lord back into a human. I wish it had more time to bake, because this was a fun, chill manga.

@mdmrn Definitely my favorite of the newest batch, and an unfortunate loss. I feel like more of these (this, The Mage Next Door, etc.) should be given the opportunity to shift to Jump+/digital and out of the main magazine, rather than forced to end in a rush and disappear.

WSJ needs room for churn, but it no longer has to just force things to end.
