@RuthMalan this is rather authoritarian, isn't it? It sounds like he doesn't want to employ people who also have their own aspirations of career development and fulfilment, but rather he wants drones to enact his will. If he thought he could replace them with AI too, I'm sure he would. A good manager is also engaged in your growth for your sake, it's more than just a reporting line!
