Learning for me though doesn't just happen in the training room, but happens regularly in the studio when I want to try something new.

I've really enjoyed going back to the LollaMac origins recently with a few beaded pieces and have decided I'd like to add in a bit more of that to my offering, but want to make it more elevated. So last week I ordered some beading silk, opened up a YouTube tutorial and taught myself how to knot pearls!

There's something special about a traditional strand of knotted pearls or beads; they feel so beautifully tactile and sit so perfectly at the collar, the ultimate in timeless jewellery. I'm really pleased how these have turned out and have so many ideas about how to incorporate these into my core collections.
