I will also note that we're coming up on May, which is both my birthday month (I turn 62 on May 7th, but I celebrate it as a Birthday Week between May 7th and May 15th because birth certificate screw up), and hopefully the last month that I will have to be begposting for survival funds because in June I will start receiving Social Security Retirement benefit payments. It's been a rough ride, but crossing my fingers that the end is near.

And, my appeal for disability benefits continues independent of my receiving SS-R benefits; a successful appeal would mean both a significant increase in my monthly payments but also retroactive back payments. Crossing my fingers on that as well.
