Honestly, I was about to cancel my developer account at Apple. Why?

Well, my 2018 MacBook Pro gets a bit slow Burckhard not bothering me. What’s bothering me is, that it doesn’t support #macOS Tahoe anymore and won’t support any future #Xcode releases.

But you need the most recent Xcode version to release apps at some point. It‘s not like with android where you could have a decade old laptop with the most recent android studio on it.

@OE3FKG getting to Apple Si will be a HUGE boost! even with less memory (assuming you don't run out of disk)

I’ve never bought a mac from either - plenty of other stuff though.

@dxzdb yeah, I know i will be blown away by the performance of any M chip (even by the A chip in the Neo) compared to my old intel.

It’s just: everything I need, works. Sometimes slow, sluggish, in stop motion even. But it works. Even Unity development and Blender.
