The sad reality of where I live means I have to own a car, and I’m at the point where I’m probably gonna need one soon for commuting to work.

A #Slate Truck would be right up my alley, if they were actually selling them anytime soon. A cool, modular EV like that is super attractive. Also, there aren’t many new EVs in the $25k price range.

So I’m looking at hybrids instead. A plugin perhaps? That could get me close to 100 miles per gallon, which would be amazing.

@68000 Also, if you can get your hands on a used Kia EV6, it might be a good option as a general use EV!

@nanianmichaels I’m pretty reticent to buy anything Kia at this point. That really only leaves a used Nissan Leaf or Chevrolet Volt. I think I’m just gonna go with a PHEV, as there are a ton of different companies/models out there at a reasonable price lightly used, and I can probably get by on batteries alone with my current commute.
