So it has been a bit, but this past weekend I started testing the waters with different frameworks for a major update to @FurryFediverse and landed on #Astro. Right now it’s a #NextJS aging base, and the site is mostly static data with table data refreshing infrequently that hasn’t been holding up well.

I also plan to do a UI overhaul to be more upfront with all the instances with better filters. I look forward to getting to work on it, and switching the database backend to open source #LibSQL as well.
