I have a small very heterogeneous #homelab (anything from the original Raspberry Pi to Xeons hosting GPUs with a few ARM SBC, i7s, i9s, thin clients, total power consumption about 4000W), all connected via wifi to the "intermets" but also utilizing switches to carve out smaller networks

and needed a way to manage some tasks and provision software for compute. At work (academic medical center we are asked to comply with DISA-STIG/FIPS-140-x and various other cryptographic security if we use Linux and ask our compute to sit on the network) so I figured let's try this at the #homelab.
