I'm looking for a #task list phone (#Android OSP) #app to plan my daily tasks. Aims:
* quick task add
* subtasks or at least bullet lists in a task
* sortable
* easy to clear done tasks
* somewhere to keep postponed tasks until I have time to move them to a synced notebook

Bonuses:
* drag and drop sort, and move
* in an #fdroid repository
* useful home screen widget
* reminders or similar
* sync to a server
* current live development
* looks like I could patch it if needed

First up, https://f-droid.org/packages/ca.ramzan.delist/

Aims 2.5/5, bonuses 2/7

Delist adds tasks to a list easily and lists can be dragged to sort them, but tasks in lists is the only structure, tasks seem pretty uneditable, and tasks only have three sort options of oldest, newest and random.

Focus on the task at hand

Next, https://f-droid.org/packages/com.nononsenseapps.notepad/

Aims 4.8/5, bonuses 6/7

No Nonsense Notepad seems to have it all except subtasks (but it can have lists in the description and show them in the summary) and server sync (but it syncs to local storage that I could sync).

A simple notepad and to-do app with an excellent navigation

Now, Snaptick https://f-droid.org/packages/com.vishal2376.snaptick

Aims 3/5, bonuses 4/7

It's promising but the lack of a place to keep postponed tasks is compounded by having no way to reschedule any of yesterday's tasks not completed. The free time calculation is nice and could stop me overcommitting, though. Development is still active, so maybe the score will improve.

I think my battery drained faster while it was installed, but I might be imagining it. It didn't show up in the battery usage list.

@mjr Joplin?

I use it mostly as a personal database of interesting things. But, also for simple To Do lists within a note.

Hard to say if it'll do exactly what you want as there's a lot of flexibility & various plugins.

@markn thanks! I had noticed that but 144 MB app is a bit 😲, I don't already have a server for it and it's not clear how it would score.
