The International Space Station (ISS) is a modular complex where individual pressurized components, such as #Zvezda and #Destiny, serve specialized roles ranging from life support and propulsion to advanced scientific research.
These modules were launched separately and docked in orbit, creating a collaborative orbital laboratory that supports international crews in a microgravity environment.
