The former Central Intelligence Agency director John Brennan has added his name to growing calls for the president to be ousted on grounds that he is unfit for the job,
arguing that the US constitution’s 25th amendment addressing involuntary removal from office was
“written with Donald Trump in mind”.

Brennan, who served as head of the spy agency during Barack Obama’s presidency, told MS Now on Saturday that
Trump’s recent volatile remarks about destroying Iranian civilization
and the danger he posed to so many lives
merited his removal from the Oval Office.

“This person is clearly unhinged,”
he said.
“I think the 25th amendment was written with Donald Trump in mind.”

Brennan added that Trump was too much of a liability to be allowed to continue to be commander-in-chief, with immense firepower at his disposal, including the US nuclear arsenal.

Yeah, if we had something approaching a blurry Polaroid of a normal functioning legislative body. The entire cabinet is filled with sycophants and people who need him for their agenda like Miller (where is he by the way?) while Congress was handpicked by billionaires and bank rules by them to be completely useless.

Even if we imagine the cabinet would vote him out we still have to deal with Congress. They have to remove him before Vance gets the spot.

It’s still the right call

In my opinion Hegseth is the right target for impeachment and removal at this point in time and I consider the Democrats 25th Amendment talk to be gaslighting. It's more difficult than impeachment and removal. So why are they talking about it? They're trying to throw their enraged supporters off the scent. They want to pretend they're taking action. As per usual.

Based on their track record, not much that can refute what you’re saying.

I think somebody has demanded Hegseth goes, but it’s probably not the establishment leadership. There’s too much shit going on for me to remember exactly but I know somebody mumbled about it.

Well my long-suffering (from my scathing messages) Democratic representatives will keep hearing from me about it. It's completely doable, politically. I mean for a political party with stones. Which is not, alas, the modern Democratic party. Looking forward to the New Democrats taking things forward after the mid-terms.
