More to the point, Western NC is at high risk for wildfires at least until there is significant rainfall. Those fires can me made worse and spread faster because of felled trees and other debris throughout the region from Hurricane Helene, 18 months ago,

EdgeYeeesh. I saw the haze, and was stupid enough to be working in the yard for a couple of hours this morning and i've had a *killer*headache for the rest of the day.
