✈️🇺🇦 Nearly half of the pledged F-16 aircraft have been delayed for various reasons. This raises questions about whether the issue is systemic, what constraints exist, and how many F-16s Ukraine currently has in service. Belgium and Norway are delaying the transfer of 36 F-16 fighters - this is almost half of the promised number. The reasons are different: Belgium is waiting for new F-35s, and Norwegian aircraft are under repair due to a shortage of spare parts. In total, the partners promised Ukraine 79 aircraft, of which up to 39 may currently be in service, taking into account combat losses.
