@gannet @overholt That's mentioned in the article: weavers working from home, getting the yarn delivered to them and the merchants taking the bolts of fabric for distribution.

Here I was, impressed with my partner's 8-shaft loom in our house, but she would have been considered small fry back then šŸ˜…
