We are the first generation that is affected by climate change and the last generation that can do something about it and how will we explain to future generations that it was good for the economy when they can't farm the land, breathe the air or drink the water, that's what I want to know.
All Nations Rise. We are the leaders we are looking for.

Only when the last tree has been cut down, the last fish been caught, and the last stream poisoned, will we realize we cannot eat money," highlights that ecological destruction cannot be reversed by wealth. It is frequently attributed to the Cree Nation or as a general Native American prophecy.

#ResistanceEarth Trump has decided that climate change doesn't endanger public health. It makes about as much sense as to say that there's no such thing as gravity. The data don't lie. Scientists know that climate change is increasing sickness and premature death. apnews.com/article/clim...

Trump's EPA rejects climate change as health threat, but science strongly disagrees

The Trump administration has revoked a scientific finding that climate change is a danger to public health, an idea that President Donald Trump called โ€œa scam.โ€ But repeated scientific studies say itโ€™s a documented and quantifiable harm. The decision from the administration on Thursday reverses a 2009 finding that says warming endangers Americans' lives and health. But researchers have published tens of thousands of peer-reviewed studies on climate and health. Many link warming to more deaths and illness. One study shows U.S. heat deaths have more than doubled since 1999. Other studies tie warming to wildfires, storms, infections, mental health strain, and displacement. Studies also note cold deaths are falling, which can offset heat risks for now.
