Deconstruction is actually fun when you do it to something that you love with the purpose of finding new meaning, rather than out of spite to find arguments while it's bad.

I get why people habitually sat down to do some recreational philosophy without some personal crisis that needed resolving. 😄

In Star Wars, Luke Skywalker prevails over the Emperor by rejecting violence and sacrificing his life to retain the freedom of his soul.

But then he gets to eat and keep his cake, keeping his life, and his freedom, and getting rid of the Emperor because Vader chooses violence in his stead.

So did the rejection of violence and the making of the sacrifice actually mean anything?🤔
