Learning to Look Beneath the Surface

🎭 Why do we fall for the characters we first wanted to hate? I recently finished watching the film A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi), and it left a profound mark on me. It wasn’t just because of the themes of bullying or hearing impairment, as vital as those are. It was about something much more universal: the journey of learning how to forgive yourself and starting to love yourself again.
