@shs96c also, channeling @pluralistic, when we’re down to an oligopoly of 2-3 plausible providers, the current VC subsidy will be withdrawn as the rent seeking begins.

@sf105 @pluralistic oh yeah! At some point it’ll be cheaper to hire people again than it will be to feed the token vendors.
