Bread and Puppet at 2640 last night in Baltimore

It's great to see a performance of true freak-flag-flying, cardboard-waving controlled chaos. A troupe that isn't chasing grants and watering themselves down for institutions, but is touring in a school bus, staying in houses, passing a literal (giant, paper mache) hat around for funding, and selling cheap linocut prints to keep it moving.

Bread was good, too.
