The Murdoch’s @[email protected] , Grade: D- has yet to make #NoKings coverage “front-page worthy” and continues to trivialize pro-democracy demonstrations. 8,000,000+ Americans rallying in defense of democracy= "hundreds of thousands" Rupert and Lachlan are global saboteurs of reality and democracy. 5/n
The Murdoch’s NewsCorp employees at WSJ led by EIC Emma Tucker continue their oligarch-friendly legacy of trivializing #NoKings, democracy under siege and the pro-democracy movement; while continuing to sanewash POTUS. "…Trump, whom organizers say is running the country like a king”. D-,D-,F 6/n

It's worrisome that @[email protected] had no front page coverage as they had in the past. It is hard not to hypothesize that the Trump regime is exerting influence over the previously independent Stars and Stripes. More here about this issue: www.stripes.com/theaters/us/... 9/n

In addition to sounding the alarm that American democracy is under grave attack, news outlets must also elevate & amplify the people, orgs, & movements mobilizing save democracy under siege - & inspire + license more people to get involved. To not do so is a Fourth Estate dereliction of duty. 17/n
