Dr. Pozzi peint/painted par/by John Singer Sargent en/in 1881.

Quelle ne fût pas ma surprise en découvrant le challenge de la semaine! Je suis en train de lire le livre que Julian Barnes à consacré à cet "homme en rouge" dont la peinture en question orne la couverture!

Fichtre, la position de ses doigts et tout sauf simple et le sénateur* de Dordogne et gynécologue de son état ne fait-il pas un doigt d'honneur? On pourrait presque le croire!

Pozzi a laissé son nom à un instrument de gynécologie et était aussi un intime de Sarah Bernhardt und très apprécié des dames de la bonne société, son surnom : Médecin-amour... Tout un programme!

Je me suis senti obligé de mettre un peu de couleur bien que je n'ai guère cela... Résultat moyen selon moi.

Damn, the position of his fingers was anything else as easy and by the way, isn't the Senator* of Dordogne and gynecologist by profession showing a middle finger? We could almost believe it!

Pozzi gave his name to a gynecological instrument (in French language) and was also close to Sarah Bernhardt and also very popular by the ladies of the good society. His nickname : Doctor Love, quite a program, isn't it?

I felt obliged to use some colors but not really happy with the result...
