You are too young to remember, but during the Obama administration, right wing conspiracy theorists said that the president was going to become a dictator using FEMA’s authority during emergencies. They said there would be a huge false flag attack. Then extermination camps and burial sites with huge coffins for six people each. Anyway, fascists despise FEMA at least since then.
