US Navy Begins Mine-Clearing Operations in Strait of Hormuz
U.S. Central Command forces have begun clearing sea mines from the Strait of Hormuz. Two guided-missile destroyers, USS Frank E. Peterson and USS Michael Murphy, transited the strait and operated in the Arabian Gulf.
