Today's the "birthday" of Linda Danvers, aka the day Supergirl landed on Earth.

Nasthalthia "Nasty" Luthor is Lex Luthor's niece (via an unknown/estranged older sibling), who's the same age as Supergirl. She had the goal of trying to find out Supergirl's secret identity.

Supergirl's moved around quite a bit over the decades, pre- and post-Crisis. Pre-Crisis, she lived in:
- Midvale (after landing on Earth)
- Stanhope (home of Stanhope College, Supergirl's usual alma mater)
- San Francisco
- Santa Augusta, FL (a fictional small city)
- NYC
- Chicago

Post-Crisis, versions of Supergirl IIRC lived in:
- Metropolis
- Leesburg (a fictional Virginia town)
- Smallville
- National City (brought over from the CW TV show)

"Nasty" is also a song by Janet Jackson. Thus my hashtag joke (a lyric)...
@dtgeek Wait, a fictional Leesburg VA that's different from the real Leesburg VA? And here I thought they would have had internet by the time Crisis came around 😂

@Sharksonaplane guess the creator didn't know there was a real Leesburg (or did but didn't care)?

The comic version came along in the 90s, but there were maps/atlases back then. 🙂

@Sharksonaplane this implies Peter David chose the name mostly to allude to her Silver Age alter-ego, so maybe just coincidence:

@dtgeek Whoa, that's an interesting touch.
