We’re in trouble, California.

There’s a damn good chance there are going to be two Republicans on the ballot for governor this year.

There is no good Dem candidate on the ballot. I think these accusations are credible, and I think they will stick. He should be investigated and prosecuted, and should drop out from the race.

Katie Porter and Tom Steyer are both neck-and-neck with Chad Bianco. The rest of the Dem slate can barely pull any votes, and should drop out before the primaries (they probably won’t).

This sucks.

@drahardja Yeah, Democrats are as bad as Republicans when it comes to putting their careers above the common good. They just don't have the orange albatross to make it obvious.

@alienghic @drahardja The story of “top 2” in CA goes back a score years and is incredibly stupid. All so that Abel Maldonado could lose an election to a Tea Partier even when he tried to anticipate it.
