Truly mortifying how in the last 1 week the USA and Israel killed 300+ civilians by illegally invading Lebanon, destroyed the Rafi Nai Synagogue in Iran, and threatened Pope Leo in the Vatican, yet per TIME reporting, Democratic leadership is still reluctant to impeach Trump. And to be sure, all MAGA Republicans are complicit too. Congressional cowardice is just off the charts.

Does he need to launch an actual nuke before Congress acts?

@QasimRashid Bold of you to assume nuking someone would get them to act tho... pretty sure Carville told you the plan 10 seconds after Trump won; leave us to suffer and wait for Trump to implode on his own. I know these folks ain't care about anyone else but themselves and their donors - after all, I read their policies.

I’ve always thought of democratic leadership as the kind of girl in the king Solomon story who agreed to cut the baby in half.

Beyond that they would only debate whether to slice sagittally frontally or transverse, then for bonus points, argue you about which piece to take.

@AnarchoNinaWrites @QasimRashid yeah, I think the Democrat leadership was REALLY looking forward to Trump being the FDR of the right and just going limp for 50 years, while still collecting a paycheck. They have been unable to psychologically cope with Trump being W's over the top sequel and they are doing everything in their power to remain a minority party in spite of that. They will NEVER vote to impeach Trump as they are actively trying to save him.
