Regarding Artemis II, I admit I haven’t gotten much into it. I’m not against it or anything like that, it just hasn’t grabbed my attention. But I’m thinking about America’s relationship with space travel. To me, it’s a miracle that we went from #JFK putting out the challenge to put a person on the moon to Neil Armstrong saying one giant leap in only 8 years. Then there were six more trips to the Moon in the next 3 years, with five actually landing, the only exception being Apollo 13. Then the moon just kind of faded away, and we didn’t even attempt to go back for the next 53 years. #NASA could do no wrong in the 60s and early 70s. Some were saying the Moon could be colonized by 2000. Nope, didn’t happen. And now, even with the triumph and success of Artemis II, the regime still wants to cut funding even more to NASA. I guess we should celebrate things like this while we still can. #Artemis
