Leveling Up My Home Lab Backup with Restic — Reproducible Thoughts

How I migrated from a custom rsync-based sync to a proper restic backup setup that follows the 3-2-1 rule - and the NixOS module I had to write myself.

I am going with zfs and sending snapshots from the main (mirrored) SSD to a raidZ2 array of HDDs and copy to a set of disks in https://amzn.eu/d/0h2aDga2 as ext4 SATA as 1 grab and run and 6 month, 4 month, 2 month, 1 month and 2 week air gaped ZFS backups.
