Reading emails in Thunderbird with JAWS and encountering way too many tables, which really shouldn't be seen? Press JAWSKey+6, while you're in the Thunderbird window. Arrow down to, and expand Web / HTML / PDFs, then down to and expand reading. Down arrow to Configure Web Verbosity Levels, and expand that. Spacebar on the verbosity level that you use. Many options/check boxes to toggle, but the one you are looking for is, tables or grids. YOu can press t to get there quickly, or downarrow through the selections. Uncheck tables or grids one, tab to okay and you're done.
@khronos @mcourcel touch wood, I don't have that issue using nvda and Thunderbird 147.x
@ke7zum @khronos Yeah, It's much easier in NVDA to turn off tables that you don't want to see. You just create a Thunderbird configuration, and choose no tables in browser settings. I've been knocking my head on a virtual wall for this one for months. Including asking the JAWS folks and their AI companion without any solution. Just glad I finally figured it out.
@mcourcel @khronos coolio! I also have dynamic changes off in my T Bird profile. that can get a bit spammy still in 147.x. tha'ts jsut me though.
